BABY BASICS WITH BABBLEBOX

Bringing home your baby is so exciting, and that first year is magical and overwhelming all at the same time.  Already having done it once before, I now really realize how special and fleeting those first 12 months really are. I try to cling onto every giggle, smile, and nose grab that comes my way.  Babies don’t keep, so it’s important to spend your time soaking in all those little details.  Liza and I love snuggling and mothering sweet Annabelle, and with her helping hands and a few of my go-to products we’re all ready for the colder months. I’ve partnered with Babblebox  to share with you my baby basics for fall and winter.  Se below to what we’ll be using in the months to come!

Lands’ End Diaper bag

My number one piece of advice for moms with babies is to be prepared for the day the night before.  Babies have such small windows of awake time, you want to be ready to head out the door once they wake up and eat so you have enough time to run your errands or to take a trip to the park.  One thing I have started doing that has been a complete game changer is packing up my diaper bag the night before.  I make sure it’s stocked with diapers, snacks, toys, and anything we may need for the day ahead.  It really is amazing how many things such a small person needs, and it’s important to have a great diaper bag to bring it all along.  I’m absolutely loving the Lands’ End diaper bag for it’s easy access and light weight.   It’s called the “carryall diaper bag” for a reason- it really carries it all.  It also includes a folding changing pad, a removable mesh strap that can loop around your stroller handle, and two snap front pockets for easy access.  It’s so light I sometimes even forget its draped over my shoulder, and the prints are cute to boot!  Grab yours here (even add a monogram!).

Bourdreaux’s Butt Paste

Since the day Liza came home from the hospital, we have always had our changing table stocked with Bourdreaux’s Butt Paste.  It’s the only product I trust for treating the girl’s diaper rash.  It’s made without harsh chemicals and is free of Dye, Paraben, Preservative, Phthalate, and Talc. It’s only made with 6 simple ingredients designed to be effective in kicking diaper rash while being gentle on babies’ skin.  Diaper rash can be so painful on their sensitive skin, so I love that Bourdreaux’s Butt Paste begins working immediately after contact.  It creates a thick barrier thats lasts and continues treating the rash throughout the day.

Mustela

After having two winter babies, I’m no stranger to dealing with sensitive and dry skin. Regardless of the time time of year or the type of skin your baby has, Mustela has a lotion for you.  They offer product lines for dry skin, eczema, normal skin, and very sensitive skin.  Both of my girls have had pretty normal skin, and we swear by Mustela’s best selling Hyrda Bebe Lotion.  It’s non greasy formula penetrates the skin immediately and keeps them moisturized all day, without leaving any residue or overwhelming fragrance. It’s made of 97% natural ingredients , hypoallergenic, and free of Parabens, Phthalates, and Phenoxyethano. Enjoy 20% off your Mustela purchase with code BABBLEBOX17 HERE

Vichy

I couldn’t forget about the mamas on this post! Pregnancy, child birth, nursing, lack of sleep, hormones… all these things wreck havoc on your skin.  One thing I noticed when I was pregnant was that I was always so thirsty- as was my skin.   The Vichy Mineral 89 Moisturizer combines Mineral Rich Water with Hyaluronic Acid to fortify skin and make it more resistant to visible aging caused by pollution, stress to skin, and fatigue (hello new moms!). This miracle moisturizer will give your skin an instant glow, making you look like love gotten nothing but 8 hours for weeks.   You can get yours HERE and get an additional 20% OFF + free shipping with CODE BabbleBoxx through 11/30/17.

Baby B’gosh

How adorable are these fall pieces for Annabelle?  This little suspenders and the cozy vest… I can’t.  Not only is it all darling, but Baby B’gosh pieces are built to last and get softer and softer with every wash.  These are pieces that will survive trips to the park and spilled baby food, but will be loved by child after child.  I can always count on Baby B’gosh for stylish and affordable clothing for my girls season after season. Playtex Nursing Bra

A good nursing bra is your best friend during your nursing journey.  There are a million options out there, but trust me when I say the Playtex Nursing Bra is the best I have found.  It’s completely seamless and the straps are so comfortable.  It’s also made with X-Temp technology so it keeps you cool all day.  What really sets it apart from other’s I’ve tried is that the size adjusts as your chest changes… so no need to ever buy  another nursing bra! Sleek and comfortable, you definitely won’t mind lounging at home with your baby in this bra.

Mumbrella

Do you mamas ever feel like a pack mule? Like there are just never enough hands to help you get from point A to point B?  Well then you need to meet my new friend, Mumbrella. The Mumbrella is a large umbrella that attaches to your stroller, shielding you from rain or keeping you cool under the sun all while leaving your hands free.  So now you can push your stoller, latte in hand, and always be protected.  This is sure to be new favorite among mamas on the go.  Grab yours HERE and be sure to use code BABBLEBOXX for free shipping!
