A few weeks ago I attended a preview of the new spring spa menu at The Spa at The Crescent, and it was such a treat. We sipped champagne, enjoyed yummy snacks from the Spa Cafe, and had the most wonderful treatment- a “Break for Beauty Blueberry Peel.” This gentle peel is full of antioxidants and meant to purify and exfoliate dull skin. And I don’t use the word gentle lightly; you walk out glowing and refreshed, with little to no redness. Whether you’re working 9-5 or a stay at home mom, carving out time for yourself is difficult. This 25 minute facial is perfect to pop in during your lunch break or while your littles are at school, and enjoy a little me time. After most peels I come out looking quite frightening and run straight home not to be seen, but this peel is so gentle (but still so effective) you can continue on with your day straight from the spa! Don’t believe me? After our fun even at the Spa, all of us girls went next door to Nobu for dinner. That’s right, sans make-up and post facial we were all glowing!
My skin continued to look glowing and clear for days. The sun and pool do a number on my skin over the summer, so I will definitely be back for a little self care break with The Spa at The Crescentt this season. I also came home from the Spa with several Cosmedix products that I’m loving, so be sure to check back to learn more about those.
